The Creative Oddball.

Hello! My name is Aurelio Sanchez Ramirez (you can call me Aur for short :)), and I am a marketing professional on the rise driven by curiosity, resiliency, and purpose.

Born and raised in a small town in South Jersey, I learned early from my Hispanic migrant farmworker parents the value of hard work and perseverance, and the importance of creating opportunities where none existed. This had led me to dream big at such a young age and accomplish incredible feats, from graduating as a high school valedictorian to being dually enrolled in an accredited 2-year institution during my high school career. But the truth is, that this is where things began.

Now at just 20 years old, I have built an unconventional and dynamic career in marketing, working across industries including beauty, healthcare, hospitality, higher education, and e-commerce. From global brands like L’Oréal and Inspira Health to regional institutions like Rowan University and Bally’s Atlantic City, these experiences have given me a diverse perspective and the ability to approach marketing with both strategic clarity and creative depth.

My journey began by helping local small businesses build their identities from the ground up, and has since evolved into contributing to national product launches, brand campaigns, and strategic communications initiatives. No matter the scale, my goal remains the same: to help brands connect with people in ways that are meaningful, memorable, and human.

Why I Call Myself
"The Creative Oddball"

I call myself the creative oddball because I don’t see marketing the way most people do. I see stories that need to be told, spreading messages that save lives, and finding ways to stand out amidst competitors in oversaturated industries. (I am also a photographer and professional clown).

My path into marketing didn’t follow a traditional blueprint. It started by helping local entrepreneurs bring their visions to life, teaching myself design, branding, and strategy through real-world experience. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work across multiple industries, each one teaching me how different audiences think, feel, and connect with brands.

This unconventional path has allowed me to develop a unique perspective. I’m not confined to one way of thinking or one industry’s norms. Instead, I approach every brand, every project, and every challenge with curiosity, empathy, and a willingness to create something that hasn’t been done before. I create messages that fill the gaps in what clients and consumers are thinking.

Being the creative oddball means I’m comfortable stepping outside conventional thinking. It means bringing curiosity into rooms that rely on routine, embracing originality, and become motivated by how it could be done differently, and better.

At an age when most students are just beginning to explore marketing, I have already worked across multiple industries, from startups building their first identity to global organizations executing large-scale campaigns. This breadth of experience has given me a holistic viewpoint and perspective on marketing, which others don't get exposure to at such a young age.

Each industry has taught me how to adapt, how to listen, and how to understand what makes audiences connect with brands. I’ve built Amazon storefronts, supported global product launches, developed strategic communications frameworks, executed promotional campaigns, and helped organizations strengthen their digital presence. These experiences have shaped me into a marketer who understands both the creative and strategic sides of brand building.

What sets me apart is my accomplishments and work mindset. I bring the hunger of someone who knows where they came from, the perspective of someone who has seen brands at every stage of growth, and the creativity of someone who refuses to approach marketing conventionally.

I don’t just want to work for brands. I want to help build them, evolve them, and make people believe in them. Marketing is my life, and creativity is my specialty. I carry this drive with me everywhere I go and with every project I handle. I am excited about playing a role in shaping the future of innovation in any industry.
